What You'll Be Doing As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you'll be the face of FCCU's home lending experience - building trust, guiding members through the mortgage journey, and delivering personalized solutions. Originate residential loans (purchase & refinance) for secondary market or portfolio. Manage loan applications, disclosures, rate locks, and documentation using Mortgagebot & Encompass. Deliver proactive communication and top-tier member service throughout the loan process. Maintain organized pipelines and meet volume goals. Cross-sell FCCU products to meet member needs. Stay current on mortgage regulations and compliance standards. Represent FCCU at community events and member meetings - evenings/weekends as needed. What You Bring to the Table You're a high-energy mortgage professional with a passion for service, sales, and community impact. 2 years of college-level coursework in finance or lending-related fields. 3 years in high-volume mortgage lending, with at least 1 year of origination experience. Strong sales, communication, and organizational skills. Deep knowledge of mortgage products (FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC) and credit analysis. NMLS registration or eligibility required.
