Wharton-Smith, Inc. currently has immediate openings in Jacksonville, FL for a carpenter position (Form & General). We offer a competitive salary and field benefits. Successful Candidates must have: No minimum education required. Must have 3 years’ experience. Must have construction experience. Must have experience with installing and removing concrete forms. Must have experience with commercial hand tools and power tools. Ability to work outdoors in heat and direct sunlight for 8 hours per day. Must have transportation to get to job site. Preferred Skills: High School diploma and on-the-job training preferred. Job Description: Build wooden structures and forms such as concrete forms, scaffolds, wooden supports, temporary frame shelters.
