Job Description Job Description Physical Therapist Assistant
(PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1
years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants
who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position is available in a
school setting serving K-12 students across multiple schools in the
region. This contract role focuses on school-based therapy services
and requires experience working within educational environments.
The assignment will start as soon as possible and continue through
late May of 2026. Location: Eustis, FL Setting: On-site at multiple
schools (approximately 16) including elementary, middle, and high
schools within the district. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical
therapy services to students ages 5-18, supporting mobility,
strength, and functional independence. Collaborate closely with
teachers, therapists, and school staff to develop and implement
individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
Manage a caseload of about 100 students from across assigned
schools, adapting schedules and therapy goals as required
throughout the school year. Complete all documentation and reports
in compliance with district guidelines. Participate in meetings and
communications with families and educational teams to support
student progress. Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist
Assistant with current, valid professional licensure. Demonstrated
experience in school-based physical therapy settings is mandatory.
Ability to work effectively with children across various grade
levels and collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff. Must
successfully complete required background checks and fingerprinting
as per school district policies. Additional Information: Full-time
schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week (8 hours/day with a
30-minute unpaid break). This is a contract position for the
2025-2026 academic year. Assignments will be across multiple
schools; some travel within the district is expected. If you have
