Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is
available in Oviedo, FL, supporting middle school students in
grades 6 through 8. This full-time contract position offers both
full and part-time openings with potential for a hybrid work
schedule, providing flexibility for professionals seeking a
balanced work-life environment. Key responsibilities include
evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to
students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The
role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other
school professionals to develop and implement individualized
education programs (IEPs) aimed at improving students communication
skills and academic success. Qualifications: Valid Florida State
License for Speech-Language Pathology SLP Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) through ASHA Masters Degree in Speech-Language
Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a
middle school setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills
to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff
Location: Oviedo, Florida Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive
speech and language assessments for middle school students Design
and deliver evidence-based speech therapy sessions tailored to
individual student needs Monitor student progress and maintain
accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal
guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance
