Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an
elementary school in Ocala, FL, supporting students from Pre-K
through 5th grade. This contract position runs from February 23,
2026, through May 29, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours
per week, Monday through Friday. The SLP will work collaboratively
with another Speech Language Pathologist in a shared caseload
environment, serving approximately 60-65 students with a range of
communication needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and
language therapy services to students with diverse disabilities
including general education speech/language impairments, intensive
support spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities,
developmental delays, and those using communication devices.
Collaborate closely with school staff and the partnering SLP in a
shared therapy room to provide consistent, supportive intervention.
Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and document
therapy services appropriately. Adapt therapy approaches to meet
individual student needs across various grade levels, from Pre-K
through fifth grade. Qualifications: Valid Florida Department of
Health (DOH) license for Speech Language Pathology required. Open
to Certified Speech Language Pathologists, including Candidates for
Certification (CFYs), with necessary support provided. Experience
with school-aged children preferred; new professionals with 0-2
years experience are encouraged to apply. Ability to work on-site
in a school environment. Location: Elementary school situated in
