Manufacturing LLC is a leading build-to-print precision machine
shop serving the aerospace, defense, medical, marine, and
automotive industries. Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled
Manufacturing Process Engineer with a strong background in
SolidWorks CAD/CAM simulation software and CNC programming . The
ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in milling and
multi-axis turning , and will play a key role in quoting, Lean
Manufacturing, process design, first piece setup of new products,
and problem-solving within our production environment.
Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize
manufacturing processes for precision-machined components. Take a
project from concept to production. Creates and revises process
routings for new, recurring, and rework job orders. Create and
modify CAD/CAM models using SolidWorks for CNC programming.
Advanced CNC Programming and machining & milling experience.
Collaborate with Set-up Techs and production teams to ensure
efficient set-up and operation of milling and lathe machines. Lead
quoting efforts by analyzing part complexity, material, and
machining time. Provide CNC automation solutions to improve
throughput and reduce manual labor. Manage multiple projects,
ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Qualifications:
Proven experience in a precision machine shop environment. 5 years
of experience in SolidWorks CAD/CAM and CNC programming. 5-Axis
milling and 7-axis lathe experience a plus Strong knowledge of
milling and lathe operations. Experience with quoting and
estimating manufacturing jobs. Familiarity with automation
technologies and process improvement tools. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong project management
and communication abilities. Requires a degree in Science,
Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by
local laws/regulations, and typically a minimum of 5 years prior
relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a
minimum of 5 years of experience. Preferred Skills: Experience in
aerospace, medical device, or firearms manufacturing. Knowledge of
GD&T, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity
with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively communicate information with managers and
other employees, both orally and in writing. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio,
interest, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra. REASONING
ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding, carrying out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
