We are growing at a consistent pace and seek professional individuals with drive, team mentality, who want to make an impact, and are committed to a long-term career in the insurance industry.SUMMARYPrimary responsibility is to lead the coordination and facilitation of software application development projects and changes, from initiation to implementation, with the emphasis being ensuring that what is delivered to the business is consistent with the organization's policies, goals and requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for coordinating implementation of project objectives; according to defined scope, as well as the method of execution including costs and schedule estimation. Responsible for leadership and coordination of cross-team software application development projects and changes, team building and motivation, and assisting with SDLC processes and best practices.-- Responsible for assessing and communicating cross-functional dependencies between teams during release planning/prioritization and implementation.-- Manage assigned project and work efforts according to defined SDLC framework.-- Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical resources to scope, review, plan, and prioritize software application development projects and changes.-- Lead estimation efforts with technical resources to effectively size work efforts.-- Lead agile teams (in a servant-leadership discipline) to efficiently deliver committed software application development projects and changes (ScrumMaster).-- Act as a liaison between the technical and business community.-- Manage and facilitate documentation of projects and work efforts.-- Manage communication activities for status reporting, project and work efforts, risk mitigation plans and metrics-- Lead Change Management and impact analysis.-- Coordinate and utilize resources to optimal efficiency; leading a focus on best allocation based on work required on given initiatives.-- Release Risk Management - identify possible risks and plans for mitigation of those risks across all work efforts in a release plan; anticipate problems/issues before they arise and determine appropriate action or escalation plan as needed. Assist in facilitation and coordination Root Cause Analysis activities with Quality Assurance..-- Leadership in team building activities and motivation activities; provide recommendations for appropriate activities to Senior Project Management staff based on team behaviors.-- Assist with implementation, maintenance, and adherence to defined SDLC methodology and framework and best practices.-- Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.PM19

The individual should have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.COMPUTER SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of internet/intranet software as well as spreadsheet and word processing software. Ability to type 90 keystrokes per minute with 90% accuracy.
