This position ensures accessible, fair, and equitable participation for everyone on UFPA's diverse and valued team, as well as all guests and visitors.The UFPA Operations Management Assistant delivers support for the UFPA Director of Operations across a range of venue and event management tasks: maintenance of venue calendars, and event documentation; facilitating the planning work of rental clients and UFPA sponsored productions, including the preparation of project cost estimates and agreements; coordinating on site event and venue services on behalf of clients and guests with UFPA patron services and technical production staff; assisting with the tracking and reporting of event resources and expense.The Assistant attends to venue security and access control needs; identifies and reports ongoing venue maintenance and upkeep needs; ensures incident response per training when needed; and supports a safe and respectful work site at all times.The Assistant will be assigned as a UFPA venue supervisor per training, as needed and available. The position is part-time, and will include assignments for evening and weekend events. The position is hands on, and the Assistant will be expected to participate in set-up, reconfiguration, and clean up.Expected Salary:$15.00-$17.00 per hour.Minimum Requirements:This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
