Living Team as a Program Director.

open their homes to individuals with disabilities and assists
families by providing adoption and foster care services. With

General Summary
The Program Director reports directly to the Executive Director and
directs, manages and administers the coordination and service
delivery components of programs that service
individuals/consumers.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Complete regular quality assurance reviews of individual
charts, documentation and MAR's to ensure that service delivery is
appropriate to meet the individual/consumer needs and personal
goals.
- Routinely observe service delivery on-site and monitor for
demonstration of knowledge such as ISP requirements,
individual/consumer health needs, behavior management techniques
and emergency procedures.
- Serve as a ResCare liaison between the community, regulatory
agencies and family/guardians.
- Ensure all homes under supervision are environmentally
maintained, in strict compliance with all state/federal guidelines,
licensure requirements and company policy, at all times.
- Conduct investigations of serious incidents and submit
appropriate reports to required agencies.
- Serve as on-call support to supervised homes.
- Monitor and assure compliance with monthly, quarterly and
annual goals to ensure services are provided as indicated in each
consumer's ISP.
- Serve on or chair the Human Rights Committee, Behavior Review
Committee, Admissions Committee and other location specific
committees.
- Hire, train, evaluate and monitor Program Managers and any
other assigned personnel.
- Complete timely Performance Reviews to ensure employees are
productive, accountable and successful in their positions.
- Ensure all employees operate and/or manage within fair labor
practices, company policy/procedures and all applicable industry
regulations.
- Conduct and/or monitor training for all staff in least
restrictive techniques, behavior management, active treatment,
client rights, prevention of abuse/neglect, documentation/data
collection, emergency procedures and other areas as
needed.
- Participate in team leadership meetings.
- Perform New Home Inspections for Host Home Provider
applicants.
- Monitor review employee Annual Training completion with Program
Managers and Training Coordinator.
- Complete and submit a CEMP for all locations under
supervision.
- Complete monthly Site Reviews at all locations under
supervision.
- Complete monthly Record Reviews at all locations under
supervision.
- Complete monthly and quarterly RFMS audit reviews.
- Monitor and review all orders and billing invoices for
accuracy.
- Attend monthly staff meetings & trainings.
- Attend quarterly staff meetings & trainings.
- Obtain, review and coordinate assessment of potential new
clients referrals.
- Monitor and review Critical Incident Reports for completion and
accuracy.
- Submit weekly reports to the Executive Director that detail
important updates or other pertinent information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Qualifications/Education -
- Minimum experience of two years working in Florida's ICF and
Waiver services.
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal and written
communication skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- A bachelor's degree earned from an accredited educational
institution is required, preferably in a human services related
field.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license with a satisfactory
motor vehicle driving record, as defined by ResCare's vehicle
policy and maintain current automobile insurance.
