Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Business
Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Support teams,
including staffing, project delivery, and issue resolution
Deliver enterprise datasets and data services to enable data
analytics and facilitate decision making
Establish DataOps methodologies, evolve the capabilities of the
data lake, and ensure compliance with regulations and data
governance
Qualifications:
8+ years of software and data engineering experience, with 4+ years
in a developer/architect role and 3+ years in a management
capacity
Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience in
recruiting and retaining talent
Experience in building and operating data pipelines using DataOps
methodologies
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools like
Jira
Understanding of quality and privacy standards, and compliance with
regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA
