As a physician assistant at UF Health Shands, you'll be able to:

• Work with a highly skilled team of clinicians in a variety of specialty areas, care settings and clinical departments, including inpatient med/surg, outpatient primary and specialty care clinics, ED, ORs, Psychiatry units and our ICUs.
  
• Practice at the top of your license to provide direct patient care and evaluations, write orders, prescribe medications and coordinate the scheduling of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures.
  
• Participate in unit-based activities that contribute to a positive work and professional environment.
  
• Assist with resident and medical student training or participate in exciting research.
  
  We're seeking dynamic and well-rounded candidates with a current PA license in Florida. Additional specialty area certifications may be required for certain roles.
