Internal Medicine Associate Program Director Apply Type Direct Hire ID FL181-2721070 Posted Feb 27, 2023 Job Summary: - The Internal Medicine Associate Program Director is accountable for leading the Internal Medicine Residency Program following the guidelines of the organization. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in an outpatient setting and allocate their time between administrative duties, clinical practice, and supervising residents. Additionally, teaching physicians may be given faculty appointments and may collaborate with other professionals. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing leadership and direction for the Internal Medicine Residency Program
• Maintain clinical practice as an outpatient provider
• Monitor program compliance with ACGME and UCF COM policies
• Work with faculty and staff to ensure resident education meets the standards of the ACGME and UCF COM
• Collaborate with other UCF COM faculty
• Lead resident selection process
• Provide oversight for evaluation and assessment of resident progress Qualifications: -
  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program
  • Board certified in the field of internal medicine
  • Ability to obtain Florida medical licensure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Applicants with experience as academic teaching faculty or prior chief residency duties are encouraged to apply Experience and Skills:
