Some tasks include:Acute & chronic disease state managementMedication managementCondition assessmentTailored, goal-oriented treatment plansPost-surgical rehabilitationPatient and caregiver educationPain managementWound careWhat are the qualifications for a Home Health Nurse?Graduate of an approved school of nursingStrong assessment and care planning skillsAbility to delegate care appropriately and supervise Licensed Practical NursesDo you need home health care experience to be a Home Health Nurse?Previous home health experience is not required. Ask us about our preceptorship where you will gain experiential training under the supervision of an enthusiastic role model.Do Home Health Nurses work alone?Home Health Nurses are autonomous, but they are not alone.
