Job Description:

Seeking a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Overview

--- FTE: 1.0
--- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, TBD
--- Days of Week: Monday-Friday

UF Health Shands Rehab Services is dedicated to providing excellent patient care through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Our team of therapists provides rehabilitation services and education to patients, working closely with referring physicians, therapists, and support staff. We offer continuing education, journal clubs, staff mentoring, and opportunities for student clinical education and residency programs.

Our adult rehab center provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to the high school and adult population. We specialize in orthopedics, neurology, and pelvic health, with a wheel chair seating clinic and pool therapy programs.

Qualifications

--- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a Rehab Therapy
--- No previous clinical experience necessary
--- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of therapy services and settings
--- Demonstrates strong communication skills

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Florida.

Job Requirements

--- Operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'
