Job Description:

Lead a team of professionals in delivering patient-centered care and overseeing clinical and administrative operations at the UFHealth Shands Endoscopy Center.
Key responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Coordinating daily operations, ensuring staffing levels, inventory management, financial indicators, and customer service standards.
  
• Developing and managing departmental policies, procedures, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives.
  
• Orienting, training, and educating staff; hiring, evaluating, and coaching employees.
  
• Accountable for strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of systems supporting professional practice and departmental goals.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Current RN license in Florida.
    
  • Master's degree in Nursing required.
    
  • National nursing certification within six months of hire.
    
  • Minimum five years professional nursing practice experience, with three years GI procedural experience/clinical specialty.
    
    Preferred qualifications include:
    
    • 
      
    • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
      
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      
    • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
      
      Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
      
      • 
        
      • Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
        
        Licensure/Certification/Registration:
        
        • 
          
        • Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida.
