Job Description:

Responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients in assigned areas, collaborating with medical services and participating in education and research activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in assigned areas
  
• Collaborate with medical services to ensure effective patient care
  
• Participate in education and research activities to advance pharmacy practice
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
    
  • PharmD or equivalent education and hospital training/experience required
    
  • PGY1 residency preferred, PGY2 residency highly preferred
    
  • Two years pharmacy experience in an organized healthcare setting preferred
    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with supervisors, peers, support personnel, and students
    
  • Demonstrated understanding of general hospital and ambulatory operations
    
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate clinical services, education, and research activities
    
    Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
    
    • 
      
    • Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
      
      Licensure/Certification/Registration:
      
      • 
        
      • Registered pharmacist in Florida or eligible for same
