Job Description:

Pharmacist position at Shands Hospital, providing clinical services to patients in assigned areas, participating in education and research activities.


Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in assigned areas.
  
• Participate in relevant education and research activities.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
    
  • PharmD or equivalent education and hospital training/experience required.
    
  • Two years pharmacy experience in an organized health care setting preferred.
    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with supervisors, peers, support personnel and students.
    
  • Demonstrated understanding of general hospital and ambulatory operations.
    
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate clinical services, education and research activities.
    
    
    
    Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
    
    • 
      
    • Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
      
      
      
      Licensure/Certification/Registration:
      
      • 
        
      • Registered pharmacist in Florida or eligible for same.
        
        
        
        Additional Requirement:
