Contract Job Title: Registered Nurse – Neurology Location:
Gainesville, FL Shift: 12-Hour Days or Nights (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM /
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends Hours per Week: 36
Employment Type: Permanent Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive
assessments upon patient admission and during each scheduled shift.
Monitor and document any changes in patient condition, promptly
reporting to the medical team. Administer prescribed medications
and evaluate patient responses. Provide education to patients,
families, and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and
post-care instructions. Collaborate effectively with physicians,
care coordinators, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely medical documentation.
Uphold safety and infection control standards. Support patient
advocacy, quality improvement, and positive health outcomes.
Qualifications: Required: Active Florida RN license or Compact RN
license. Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within
the last 4 years). Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) within 30 days of start
date. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Experience
working in Neurology or other high-acuity units. Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $30.69 – $43.20 (based on experience). Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $25,000 (case-by-case basis). Relocation Assistance:
