expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications The Cardiovascular ( CV)
Education Specialist is responsible for all CV service line nursing
education including but not limited to unit-based competencies, new
hire orientation, and ongoing departmental education. The role also
requires oversight and execution of service line research projects.
In addition to an extensive clinical background, applicants should
possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
to be successful. What you will do in this role: - Participates in
the development, coordination, managing, facilitating, conducting,
and evaluating of onboarding and orientation programs for nursing
and other healthcare personnel - Conducts orientation in a manner
that facilitates a positive learning environment. Incorporates
organizational values/culture into the orientation process -
Identifies learning needs of staff and assesses practice gaps,
comparing competencies to actual practice. Plans educational
content with learner engagement - Partners with the Clinical
Education Market Director to review outcomes data to evaluate and
refine aptitude management activities - Demonstrates an expertise
of adult educational theory and the ability to apply evaluation
methodologies, (i.e., Kirkpatrick) into courses and curriculum to
refine clinical programs What qualifications you will need: -
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of
employment start date - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained
within 30 days of employment start date - (RN) Registered Nurse -
