Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is actively seeking a
dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team
during daytime shifts. This position is ideal for a compassionate

personally. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to
patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
Monitor patient health and record signs within our electronic
health record systems. Administer medications, monitor vital signs,
and subtly observe health and emotional changes to effectively
document the patient's condition. Educate patients and their
families on illness, injury prevention, and continuation of
treatment at home. Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare
professionals for creating and evaluating customized care plans.
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications. Produce a
compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological,
and spiritual support to patients and their friends and families.
Adhere to all hospital safety and infection control procedures to
maintain a safe work environment Advanced medical surgical nursing
proficiency Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) software Expertise in
infection control protocols Capability in handling high-stress
situations calmly and effectively Excellent written and verbal
communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Florida BLS/CPR certification required upon hire;
ACLS certification preferred Certification in Medical-Surgical
Nursing (CMSRN) is a plus
