Job Description Job Description Title: Nurse Manager – Emergency Services (FSED) Location: Mount Dora, Florida Status: Full Time Monday Dayshift – Monday through Friday (8am–5pm) Leadership call responsibilities Responsible for 24/7 department operations This is a unique opportunity for an experienced ER clinical leader to oversee operations of a Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) designed for efficiency, patient-centered care, and strong team collaboration. Schedule Position Overview The Nurse Manager oversees clinical operations, staff development, and department performance while ensuring delivery of safe, efficient, patient-centered emergency care. This leader will: Drive evidence-based practice and clinical excellence Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation standards Optimize patient throughput and operational efficiency Develop staff engagement and retention strategies Foster collaboration across interdisciplinary teams Champion patient experience initiatives Manage staffing, scheduling, and department productivity Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance benchmarks Leadership Impact You will play a critical role in shaping department culture by: Coaching and mentoring nursing staff Identifying development opportunities Promoting accountability and transparency Supporting patient-first service standards Creating an environment focused on teamwork and outcomes Qualifications ? Active RN license (or APRN) ? Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing ? Recent acute care Emergency Department leadership experience within the last year (charge nurse, coordinator, supervisor, or similar) ? Strong clinical ER background required ?
