Job Description Job Description Respiratory Therapist - Gainesville (775522) Position Name: Respiratory Therapist – RRT/CRT Facility Name: TBA (Hospital based) Shifts Available: Nights (Rotating Weekends) Evenings (Rotating Weekends) Job Summary: Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care. Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others. Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician. Delivers, set-up, and maintains routine and non-routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy. Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases. Qualifications: · 1yr min of RRT exp required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit) * Would consider those with home care and/or long term care experience · FL State Respiratory License · NBRC – RRT/CRT · Basic Cardiac Life Support(BLS) · ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date · NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date · PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Position Title Respiratory Therapist - Gainesville Position Type Perm Contingent Position Creation Reason Vacant Position General Comments Salary Range: Under 1 year: $27.42 2-3 years: $29.89 4-5 years: $31.12 6-7 years: $32.36 9-10 years: $33.59 16 years: $36.95 SIGN ON : $25k for Both Evenings and Nights Relo : Case by case Shift Diffs : Nights: $3.25 & Weekend:$2
