Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit during the night
shift. In our state-of-the-art facility, you will enhance patient
care by providing clinical support and fostering an environment
that emphasizes evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
This role demands a commitment to maintaining the highest standards
of nursing care and operational efficiency, aligning with our
mission to lead the way in medical innovation and patient
satisfaction. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with
established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare
organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as
appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Assess and
coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the
healthcare team. Administer medications and all other routine
aspects of patient care. Maintain a safe and clean working
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Participate in educational opportunities to update knowledge and
skills. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic
medical record (EMR) systems Ability to work independently under
minimal supervision Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in
the state of Florida BLS Certification required from a recognized
provider ACLS Certification preferred
