Performance Foodservice, a leading distributor in the food service industry, is seeking a dedicated Technician in Beverage & Chemical to ensure the optimal functionality and safety of our beverage and chemical dispensing systems. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our operational processes and ensuring that our equipment continuously supports our commitment to quality and service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing both modern and traditional beverage and chemical dispensing systems utilized across our network of customers, ranging from single-location eateries to large national chains. Conduct regular maintenance and diagnostic tests on beverage and chemical dispensing systems. Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary. Install new equipment and systems at customer locations. Adhere to health and safety regulations when handling chemicals and operating equipment. Train staff at customer sites on proper operation and maintenance of systems. Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs. Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic systems. Strong understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Medical Insurance 401k Certification in Chemical Handling and Safety preferred. EPA Section 608 Technician Certification advantageous.
