HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is actively seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our renowned healthcare team. This position is designed for a professional skilled in operating computed tomography (CT) machines to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and other tissues, which are used for diagnostic purposes. This role requires flexibility, quick problem-solving skills, and a deep commitment to patient safety and quality care. Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician orders and imaging protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, including proper use of shielding and other protective equipment. Document technical protocols and patient history, maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to determine diagnostic strategies and interpret scan results. Perform regular maintenance checks on CT imaging equipment to ensure consistent operational standards. Educate and prepare patients on the process, addressing any questions or concerns about the procedure. Proficiency in operating CT imaging machinery and tools Strong attention to detail and precision Ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical team Capability to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations Capable of managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist CPR certification preferred
