Performs various specimen processing functions for both clinical and research specimens. Utilizes computer functions for tracking laboratory specimens. Performs specimen handling and processing according to established policies and procedures of the department and institution. Interacts with allied health staff and physicians as a professional member of the laboratory team. Additional Skills and Qualifications: Experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred. Must be able to tolerate standing for more than 50% of the time. Must also be able to bend, have adequate use of both hands, and distinguish colors. Exemption Status Nonexempt Compensation Detail $17.63-$23.46/hour Benefits Eligible Yes Schedule Part Time Hours/Pay Period 40 Schedule Details M-F variable hours between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Set schedule will be made after training is completed. Weekend Schedule Saturday and Sunday variable hours between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Set schedule will be made after training is completed.
