Responsibilities Here we GROW again! Our Mayo Clinic Radiology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology. As we continue to add the most advanced, high technology scanners to our fleet, we are looking for amazing Ultrasound Technologists to join our team. Our Ultrasound Technologists autonomously performs high quality, advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging required for tertiary care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including abdominal, vascular, abdominal vasculature, small parts, and OBGYN exams. US Qualifications - Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program and /or ARDMS registered or registry eligible. - One year of experience as a Sonographer preferred. - Associate degree or above preferred - ARDMS registered or registry eligible in the areas of abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN) and vascular technology (RVT). - ARDMS registered in Abdomen, Obgyn, and RVT within 18 months of Mayo employment. - Each certification should be achieved every 6 months. - Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date. Exemption Status Nonexempt Compensation Detail $35.45 - $53.15 / hour Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Career and salary growth potential within a three-tier system (Tech Levels I, II, III) Benefits Eligible Yes Schedule Full Time Hours/Pay Period 60 Schedule Details Multiple shift/FTE options: 1) 10-hr shifts, every 3rd weekend; variable weekdays. Starts 6:30–9a; weekends 8–11a (.75 or .5 FTE). 2) Weekend nights Fri–Sun 6p–6:30a, rotating holidays. 3) Day shift, every 3rd weekend; variable weekdays, rotating holidays, backup call/off shifts. Weekend Schedule All positions help cover off-shifts (2nd & 3rd), back-up call, & 1-2 holidays/yr. Orientation is full-time approx 6-7 mos. Tech Ladder seniority & involvement opportunities.
