lasting impact. Overview The Executive Director is responsible for
the day-to-day operations and leadership of a designated hospice
program site. Serving as the Administrator of Record for that site,
this role ensures regulatory compliance, high-quality care
delivery, and strong interdisciplinary team performance. The
Executive Director is a key liaison with community partners, staff,
patients, and families, and supports the mission and standards of
Arc Hospice through ethical, person-centered leadership. Key
Responsibilities Serve as the designated Administrator of Record,
in compliance with state and federal hospice regulations. Lead
daily operations of the hospice program to ensure quality, safety,
and efficiency across clinical and administrative functions. Ensure
compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory agencies
including state departments, CMS, and internal audit standards.
Develop and monitor site budgets, staffing plans, and operational
goals in alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate with
clinical leaders to support staffing, scheduling, team development,
and effective delivery of care. Oversee hiring, performance
management, and staff training in collaboration with Human
Resources and executive leadership. Support business development
efforts by cultivating relationships with referral sources and
community stakeholders. Lead quality and performance improvement
efforts through active participation in QAPI and strategic planning
initiatives. Ensure staff are trained on hospice philosophy, HIPAA,
OSHA, and patient safety protocols. Maintain effective
communication and team engagement through routine meetings,
coaching, and visibility. Ensure timely reporting and follow-up on
incidents, grievances, compliance concerns, and regulatory events.
Provide on-call leadership support as required and maintain
coverage for alternate administrator duties. Performs other duties
as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health
administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare or hospice management
experience required. Meets requirements to serve as Administrator
under Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Texas hospice
regulations: In Florida: Must be designated by the governing body
as responsible for daily operations and compliant with FAC
59A-38.004. In Georgia: Must be a licensed healthcare professional
with at least one (1) year of hospice supervisory experience, or
equivalent supervisory background in a health-related setting. In
Texas: Must hold a Texas HCSSA Administrator License and comply
with all licensing requirements, including completion of 8 hours of
pre-appointment training, 16 hours of training within the first 12
months, and 12 hours of annual continuing education as outlined in
Texas Administrative Code Chapter 558. Demonstrated knowledge of
hospice philosophy, CMS Conditions of Participation, and applicable
state rules. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving
skills across interdisciplinary teams. Valid driver’s license and
reliable transportation required. Demonstrated empathy,
sensitivity, and ability to support patients and families from
diverse backgrounds. Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering

this position is shown below. Arc Hospice & Palliative Care is
committed to transparency and equity in all compensation practices.
The rate displayed reflects the starting hourly or salaried pay for
the role and does not represent a range. Final pay is determined
based on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, and
business needs at the time of hire. Some roles may be eligible for
additional compensation components consistent with Arc Hospice &
Palliative Care practices. Compensation $120,000 - $120,000 USD Arc
