We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to work on a per diem (PRN) basis in our Operating Room (OR). This position offers a dynamic work environment where outstanding patient care and commitment to community wellness are paramount. As an OR Nurse at our facility, you will have the opportunity to work alongside top professionals in surgical services and play a critical role in patient recovery and outcome. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Prepare patients for surgery and assist during surgical procedures following strict sterile procedures. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain detailed patient records. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other health professionals. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health maintenance. Ensure the operation room is adequately prepared for the procedure and assist surgeons during operations. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations High level of proficiency in using medical software and surgical instruments Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS Certification ACLS Certification preferred CNOR certification is a plus
