Job Description Assistant Restaurant Manager Salary: $48,000–$50,000 annually bonus potential Locations: Melbourne | Sarasota | Daytona Beach, FL Overview A well-established restaurant organization is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations, team leadership, and guest experience. This role partners closely with the General Manager to drive operational excellence, develop talent, and maintain high standards across food safety, labor, and service execution. Key Responsibilities - Support daily restaurant operations to ensure food quality, safety, and consistency - Coach and lead hourly team members to deliver exceptional guest service - Assist with staffing, onboarding, training, and performance development - Partner with the General Manager on labor planning and scheduling - Complete administrative responsibilities including cash handling, register audits, and incident reporting - Participate in management meetings, training sessions, and market workshops - Reinforce cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the restaurant - Assist with coaching and corrective actions when necessary - Make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational changes - Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required - 3–5 years of restaurant experience, including leadership responsibilities - ServSafe Certification required - Proficiency with basic computer systems and internal platforms - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
