LifeSouthCommunity Blood Centers is currently seeking an individual to join our team asthe Recruitment Coordinator in Gainesville, FL. Thisposition is responsible for helping plan, develop and implement strategictalent recruiting and employment programs to support the organization'sstaffing needs and to help develop a strong brand and "employer ofchoice" reputation.Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to: - Coordinate and direct all recruitment efforts and processes - Implement strategic hiring procedures and improve upon recruitment measures - Work with corporate managers and district management to confirm hiring needsand requirements - Assist with creating and implementing effective interview procedures andtechniques- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laborlegislation, implementing required changes to keep company recruitmentprocesses compliant - Explore the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implementappropriate best practices in the organization - Build quality relationships with internal customers and external recruitmentagencies as well as develop relationships with educational institutions andtechnical schools to aid in recruiting - Monitor recruitment costs - Set social media and internet communication strategy for different jobprofiles and functions in the organization - Assist with development of recruitment training - Find and coordinate in-person and/or virtual career fairs - Attend career fairs for talent recruitment and ongoing company recognition - Act as Predictive Index (PI) Administrator for the organization - Ensure that every position has a PI job target and pattern - Coordinate and conduct PI training as necessary - Work with marketing to establish and maintain an employment brand, bothinternally and externally, including digital and social media - Recommend resources for advertising specialized positions - Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness ofrecruiting strategies - Work with talent headhunters, as necessary and with local workforce agenciesand management to coordinate and oversee on-the-job-training programs - Comply with reporting requirements for grants - Assist in performing all aspects of hiring process, as needed - Create new/edit existing job descriptions and maintain consistency throughout - Conduct New Employee Orientation, as needed - Create and distribute hiring and recruitment reports - Maintain organizational charts; complete monthly organizational chart audit - Provide administrative support at corporate conditional offer of hiremeetings, as needed - Act as a liaison between hiring managers and new hires and communicateexpectations to both parties - Oversee company's work study and internship programs; work with regional andcorporate managers on developing and maintaining such programs - Work with the Compliance Coordinator to complete required annual reporting:VETS and EEO-1 - Assist Compliance Coordinator in providing necessary data points for AAPcompletion - Assist with implementation of new ATS and/or HRIS software, as needed - Assist with troubleshooting and training DASCs and managers on ATS systems - Perform other special projects, as assigned - Willingness to travel is essential to this positionMinimumQualifications: - Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required - Two years of recruitment experience required - Valid driver's license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver'seligibility requirements - Understanding of fair employment practices - Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer programs such as MS Office(Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) - Excellent teamwork skills - Ability to effectively meet challenges involved with achieving desired goals - Excellent negotiation skills - Strong leadership skills - Knowledgeable in the use of digital and social media sites - Proficient in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and ApplicantTracking Systems (ATS) - Ability to effectively manage a projectThe ideal candidatewill possess: - Nationally recognized human resources certificationCompetitive BenefitsPackage:- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) plan - Health, dental, vision, supplemental life, cancer, accident and disability insurance - Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer match - Retirement plan - Wellness program with incentives and HSA rewards This is a full time position. Starting salary range is $50,000 - $55,000annually. Background check and drug test required.
