We will be hiring for several roles in the West Palm Beach Area including: Guest Advisors:As an Automotive Guest Advisor, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear s Auto Service centers, by making meaningful connections while delivering outstanding service. Also, you will become familiar with quality, sales, and profitability and how to be successful in a team-environment. Responsibilities_Will_Include,_But_Will_Not_Be_Limited_To * Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, problem solving ability with full automotive troubleshooting and testing, including o Brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and advanced fuel ignition, electrical, air conditioning, computer systems, power-train management systems, road tests for diagnosis, and service recommendations * Road test vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist * Display a commitment to learn new technologies within the rapid changing automotive industry * Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehiclesProvide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians * Document all work performed on the repair order * Report any safety issues immediately to management * Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours * Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation * Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting. Basic_Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of automotive diagnosis, problem-solving and repairs experience. * Valid driver's license * Must be at least 18 years of age * No relocation is being offered for this position Entry Level Technicians:As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear s Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service. You will also become familiar with how to mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and conduct additional automotive preventative maintenance. Basic_Qualifications * Valid driver's license * Must be at least 18 years of age * No relocation is being offered for this position * Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.without company sponsorship now or in the future Mid Level Technicians:As a Mid-Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear s Auto Service centers by utilizing a mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues while delivering outstanding service. You will also become familiar with brakes, alignments, and continually learn in the rapidly changing automotive industry. Responsibilities_Will_Include,_But_Not_Be_Limited_To * Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving, o Including brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation * Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehiclesProvide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians * Document all work performed on the repair order * Report any safety issues immediately to management * Promote teamwork to deliver times and accurate guest care during all operating hours * Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation * Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting. Basic_Qualifications * Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance * Valid driver's license * Must be at least 18 years of age * No relocation is being offered for this position * Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred_Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED * ASE Certification * Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests * Previous electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience Sr Level Auto Technicians:As an Automotive Technician in one of Goodyear s Auto Service centers, you will be responsible to professionally inspect, diagnose and repair tire and conduct automotive services, while delivering an excellent guest experience. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and continually learn about new technologies in the rapid changing automotive industry, while also being successful in a team environment.
