Job no: 516139Work type: Staff Full-TimeLocation: Jacksonville CampusCategories: Office/Clerical, Research/Scientific/Grants, Veteran's Preference EligibleDepartment:30190000 - JX-NEUROSURGERY-JACKSONVILLEClassification Title:Clinical Research AssistantJob Description:Data EntryCarry out data collection, entry, and management of defined elements for study research questions.Maintain electronic databases to ensure accurate and robust research data capturing through data entry and quality checks.Data Recording Perform routine and ad-hoc reports from multiple data collection platforms, assess reports for accuracy, and update routines and systems as new variables are identified by the Faculty or Coordinator of the program.Prepare reports for leadership, as it applies to research, grant application, annual reports, and quality program management, which are reviewed by the Coordinator of Lucy Gooding Pediatric Neuroscience Research Center and Faculty.Data Base Development Database development and utilization of UF approved systems of data capture include, but not limited to, REDCap and Excel.Administration Activities such as Outlook, Word and ExcelExpected Salary:Between $14.37 - $16.76, depending on Education and ExperienceMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited program or higher with an understanding of human anatomy and medical terminologyExperience with clinical research, IRB, REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture), electronic medical records, and ExcelSpecial Instructions to Applicants:In order to be considered, you must upload your cover letter and resume.
