To monitor, direct, and coordinate the work of the planners assigned to Maintenance Department in association with planning work orders for Nutrien White Springs. To assist the Reliability Superintendent with reports and information required to support the maintenance and capital project efforts of the Maintenance Department and to assemble outages and turnarounds at the discretion of manager.

What you will do:

* Keep the Reliability Superintendent advised of planning activities for Nutrien White Springs via monthly reports, material acquisitions and status, handling special projects, attend meetings and any other planning information * Administer and assign work request/ work orders to his/ her assigned planning personnel * Administer the planner backlog to ensure the workload is equitable and each planner has enough work to occupy his/her day. Planner backlog should be reported each month to the Reliability Superintendent to use as means to evaluate planning staff level requirements * Administer the preventative maintenance work order system as an on-going mission to monitor the PM frequency, the correct work order priority is assigned, to eliminate pm work orders that do not measure up to the Best Practices Philosophies and established guidelines * Administer the work order files to ensure accurate information is kept in the files that relate to outages and shutdowns. Issue reports for review and confirmation of work order files contain viable work orders for execution during an outage. * Administer the area maintenance crew's backlog by reporting each week to the Reliability Superintendent the backlog hours for each crew by craft by discipline, i.e. pm work, pipe, mechanical, instrument and electrical work hours * Coordinate with Engineering Department to establish MRM/TAR/Small Capital Project Numbers for applicable budget cycle(s) * Administer the Nutrien Planning manual for compliance by the planning group, issue recommendations to the Nutrien Reliability Superintendent when changes are needed * Conduct planning group meetings monthly to review safety and on-going status on their group's productivity and to review any recommendations for planning group improvement * Encourage his/ her assigned group to participate in the site Safety Program, to perform Key Performance Audits (KPA's) and to follow plant safety guidelines * Administer the vacation, sick, etc. as noted by the procedural guidelines and as directed * Administer the planning group as a group and as individuals * Bring any disruptive or otherwise non-productive efforts to the attention of the Nutrien Reliability Superintendent, this position does administer discipline * Generate reports as noted below and provided to the Reliability Superintendent. Required reports are, but not limited to, the following: Maintenance Crew Backlog, Maintenance Weekly Priority List, Planner Backlog/ Planning Report, Work request not made into work orders, Contents of shutdown files by cost center, Outage estimates, Outage cost report, PM work order not closed, Outage/TAR Lists, and Routine Schedule Compliance and Percentage Emergency Work (per craft) * Act as liaison for scheduled/ unscheduled outages and turnarounds, which include but are not limited to the following activities: creating the outage list, assigning work to be planned from list, provide status of planned work orders, maintain Critical Items list, construct the outage estimate, monitor/ report the outage costs, schedule the outage activities, conduct schedule update meetings, schedule coordination meetings with operations/ maintenance/ projects, reporting outage status, and update TAR Manual as required * Interacts with all levels of the local management staff members and numerous other employees to assure production processes are not interrupted during plant upsets

What you will bring:

* High School Diploma * Post high school degree in Industrial Maintenance or maintenance related discipline Preferred * B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management preferred * Minimum 7-10 years' experience in industrial maintenance and supervisory experience preferred. Must be skilled and possess in-depth knowledge of: Piping, Mechanical, Utilities, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Ground Maintenance * Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and planning skills, facilitation skills, computer skills and the ability to achieve results through others * Knowledgeable in craft skills and job knowledge * Ability to Formulate/Read Sketches, Drawings, and Specifications * Knowledge of the Phosphate chemical processes is desirable but experienced at well-established maintenance departments is considered
