In this role, you have the opportunity to

work as a Service Innovations Engineer, based in Gainesville, FL where you will drive New Product Innovation by solving problems of diverse scope. As the Service Innovations Core Team Lead, you will be responsible for delivering Service Readiness for New Product Introduction for the RadOnc Therapy Planning Solutions BU in North America and Helsinki.

You are responsible for

  • Ensuring service readiness for New Product Introduction through:
  • Communicating both internal and external Customer Service needs to the project team
  • On-time completion of Customer Service deliverables during various phases of the project
  • Taking ownership of service requirements and follow problems through to resolution
  • Preparing the global service teams at the time of product launch and work with these teams monitoring early release activities
  • Influencing and improving overall design for serviceability into the products

  • Working independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas
  • May lead multi-disciplinary service innovation change projects
  • May lead or contribute to customer service projects

You are a part of

Global Services and Solutions Delivery team that is driving new product innovation in the Oncology field as part of our overall Philips continuum of patient care by advancing clinical solutions leading to more predictable outcomes for patients.

A key member of a team that is transforming the business from products for customers to solutions for customers while engaging to ensure service delivery requirements are defined and executed. This role is part of new product introduction team that works with global markets to also define training and support tools are delivered in the highest quality, scalable and profitable way of working.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of related experience in Service Innovation; or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of related experience in Service Innovation
  • Background in the field of Radiation Therapy, Medical Dosimetry, Medical Physics, CT or MRI preferred
  • Familiarity with Solution-based service design, Informatics, and Cloud-based solution design is a plus
  • Experience working in a FDA regulated Medical Device environment
  • Is customer-focused and service-oriented, providing realistic, practical and innovative solutions to problems
  • Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to large groups and individuals
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and globally
  • Well organized with strong Project Management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, TFS and Windchill is preferred
  • Being able to easily adapt to dynamic and changing requirements and needs
