To find out more about us, click on the link: The Work You Will Do: The Management Review Specialist administers complex, consultative, and technical Reemployment Assistance (RA) program functions to include managing the Employer Protest Unit, Employer Charge unit, and being the liaison between Employer Protest, State Employers, and the Contact Center hotline. Extensive knowledge of RA law, Chapter 443, F.S., as well as department policies and procedures relating to the RA program and supervisory skills are required to accomplish the duties of this position. You will work independently and is responsible for identifying and analyzing complex management problems; developing, recommending, and implementing solutions to resolve problems; providing instructions; and taking necessary actions in resolving problems; advising management of problems and/or policy concerns related to program and operational functions. You will be required to plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate work assignments; and work cooperatively with others. Pay: $35,000 -$40,000 Your Specific Responsibilities: This is a responsible professional position involved in interviewing customers in a CareerSource Center to provide re-employment services to include but not limited to: assessment, labor market information specific to their interests or work history, job searches, resume assistance, and employment development plan. Provide re-employment services to job seekers on an individual basis that can include an employability development plan, an assessment, labor market information, job referral, referrals to additional CareerSource Center services, and follow-up to further assist in employment efforts. Interview and assess customer needs and provide service or referrals as appropriate. Evaluate education, training, and experience and register applicants. Provide instructions and assistance to customers on how to utilize the Employ Florida (EF) and other computer data and programs. Refer customers to job openings, training opportunities, and other employment-related services; determine potential eligibility for and/or participation in special programs. Refer customers to individual or group counseling/guidance services; provide employability skills, labor market information and refer to supportive services as needed. Record information in writing or by computer. Enter data into State reporting system EF and accurately and timely of services provided. Prepare reports and submit them to management promptly for job seekers assisted. Perform other related duties as required or assigned in a seamless service delivery area, including branch office, itinerant, or stationed sites. Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position: Ability to promote and market Career Center Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in individual and group settings, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques. Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective customer service and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Minimum requirements for this position: The incumbent must possess or obtain certification as a Workforce Professional Tier 1 within six (6) months of employment in the position.
