Specifically, the Center targets kindergarten readiness, 3rd grade reading proficiency, and algebra proficiency as critical milestones in childrens educational trajectory that are predictive of success in school and life. The Center works at the nexus of research, practice, and policy to develop sustainable systems that leverage educational technologies and improve the implementation of research-based practices. Housed in one of the nations elite public research universities, the Center operates as a dynamic, entrepreneurial workplace focused on executing against UFs service mission to strengthen the human condition and improve the quality of life.Job responsibilities and duties:Data Requirements, Analysis and Visualizations

  • Prepare, conduct, and confirm the results of elicitation results: ensure that what needs to document, documentation completed in a format understandable by different parties, and documentation validated by stakeholders.
  • Requirements management throughout the analysis, design, and implementation lifecycles.
  • Prioritize Requirements: through collaboration with stakeholders, by understanding changing goals and requirements, ensure that the value of each requirement is maintained and visible while protecting access to sensitive data.
  • Aid various teams in drawing insight from centers data on course facing analytics, predictive modeling, forecasting, and building models.
  • Design data models and reports in Power BI, Domo, Apache superset and other data visualization platforms.
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
  • Effectively utilize BI tools to guide users through compelling data-driven stories that enable quick, easy, and intuitive insight.
  • Execute performance-tuning of dashboards and data sources to ensure maximum availability and usability.
  • Integrate datasets from disparate sources, which are stored using various technologies to provide a unified view and practical outcome of the data.
  • Build and distribute automated dashboards, reports, and models that are meaningful for the centers operations, research.Project Management
    • Must be able to identify project risks and barriers and successfully mitigate them.
    • Document the desired or future state of a business process by understanding goals, impacts to the given system, and process changes that need to occur to facilitate change.
    • Monitor feedback to facilitate continuous improvement under an agile methodology
    • Monitor and communicate on project progress to stakeholders.
    • Ensure all data solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, governance, privacy, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.Communications
      • Manage stakeholder involvement: provide a general understanding of information needed, tasks to be completed, and outcomes required during the effort.
      • Evaluate and communicate the introduction of new requirements in an ongoing effort.
      • Obtain team agreement on requirements through collaboration.

This policy also allows for occasional, incidental remote work based on individual circumstances.Expected Salary:$75,000 - $85,000Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree and three years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.Preferred Qualifications:
        • 3+ years of experience creating reports with data visualization tools (PowerBI and others)
        • 3+ years of SQL experience
        • 3+ years of coordinating and tracking data projects
        • Experience with Agile methodology
        • Experience with LMS\course data a plus.
        • Some coding/programming experience with a git repository.
