Job Summary
Food Runners are responsible for representing the Company as the last part of the quality assurance line for food quality. They provide guest service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to make sure all food goes out in a quality manner and to specifications.
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers tables rapidly and accuratelyAct as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staffCommunicate food orders to cooks, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)Remove dirty dishes and utensilsAnswer guests questions about ingredients and menu itemsInform restaurant staff about customers feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check)Workplace Requirements
Ability to understand and follow directions, standards for health, safety, and excellence.Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.Must be 16 years of age at the time of hire and eligible to work in the United States.Availability to work morning, weekend and evening shifts.Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from the restaurant.Physical Requirements
