  • We are hiring immediately for a DIGITAL MEDIA & MARKETING COORDINATOR position.
  • Location: University of Florida; 3030 Radio Road. Gainesville, FL 32611. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary. Events could be on any day of the week and may be needed to work evenings if applicable. More details are available upon interview.
  • Details: The digital media & marketing coordinator will assist with filming and completion of assorted content shoots on campus. They will act as a storyteller of Chartwells HE on campus. This can vary from filming in the dining halls, during events & giveaways, culinary demos, & more. They will film videos on set or on location, edit footage in post-production, to share it on social media & other channels. In addition, they will assist with day-to-day marketing support including working with the marketing team on our Chartwells & client articles and newsletters, external publications, & working to give brand exposure for UF & Chartwells Higher Ed.
  • Requirement: Previous digital media and/or marketing experience. Proficiency with editing software such as Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred. Videographer/photographer experience preferred. This is a great opportunity for a new grad! Education or experience in journalism or PR is a plus.

    Job SummaryThe Marketing Coordinator reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, holds duties related to sales and marketing. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously, accurate distribution of pertinent information both internally to all departments as well as to clients and related vendors. Excellent client skills in presentation and marketing ability. Key Responsibilities:
    • Hands-on support at events, unit set up, program implementation
    • Database management
    • Coordinates content needed for marketing initiatives
    • Coordinates field marketing requests and activities
    • Works within provided budgets and guidelines
    • Assists with presentations and proposals
    • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with field managers.
    • Works with vendors and agencies
    • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.
    • Maintains promotional inventory, fulfillment Preferred Qualifications:
      • Minimum two plus year's prior experience in marketing.
      • Background or interest in hospitality/food
      • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS systems a plus.
      • Multi-task in deadline-driven team environment, adjust to changing priorities
      • Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
      • Attention to detail
      • AS in Marketing or business related field
