The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida
invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank
of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor specializing in the area
of Retina/Vitreous diseases and surgery to expand our academic
practice. There is immediate opportunity to engage in a busy
tertiary clinical practice in an established longstanding
department with a brand new, state of the art clinic and surgery
center. In addition to providing excellence in patient care, ample
opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative
research and innovative education models in a diverse academic

experience. The College of Medicine has a competitive faculty

Requirements: Completion of an approved ophthalmic residency
program as well as postgraduate fellowship training in
retina/vitreous diseases and surgery. Board certification or
eligibility, and eligibility for unrestricted licensure in Florida
are required.Preferred Qualifications: Qualifications, in addition
to clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching,
resident training, and research as well as participation in
academic activities. Incumbent will be credentialed as medical
staff to provide patient care services within UF Health facilities
