We take pride in developing our employees to be the best that they can be.Personal Banker responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Demonstrates proficiency in Teller I and Teller II job duties and performs duties on the teller line as required.Answers customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.Builds exceptional knowledge of products and services to maintain rapport with customers, understand their needs, and provide solutions.Carries out the banks customer retention strategies.Completes special customer requests for services such as stop payments, ACH unauthorized requests, EFT disputes, replacement of debit cards or possible fraud on customers account.Complies with policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations and obtains necessary approvals and authorizations.Demonstrates awareness, commitment, and dedication to servicing customers and building customer franchise by contributing to sales referrals and cross selling programs by possessing working knowledge of all products and services offered by Millennium Bank.Educates and provides clients with other banking services; resolves client concerns and issues efficiently and effectively.Makes judgments for Tellers (within limits of authority) pertaining to cashing and/or accepting checks or drafts, solves problems, and assists with complex transactions.Participates in cross-training and sales, service and product training meetings as requested.Promotes leadership skill examples to branch employees; i.e. professional dress, customer service skills, positive attitude, and overall persona of a leader.Provides a complete range of services at the financial institution, including opening new accounts, explaining available financial institution products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts as well as provides back up to the assistant branch manager as needed.Knowledgeable of various Federal Regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Regulation E, Regulation CC, etc. and the roles and responsibilities relating to each act.Resolves customer complaints in a tactful, effective manner, and explains financial institution polices.Recognizes cross-selling and referral opportunities and informs customers of other products as indicated.Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisorQualified Candidates will possess:High School diploma or GED3+ years of cash handling experience.3+ years of customer service experienceBanking experience (Preferred)Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistentDemonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize workDemonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlinesSound judgment in decision making and problem solvingProficient in Microsoft OfficeMillennium Bank offers a Comprehensive Employee Benefits Package, including:Health, dental & vision InsuranceCompany paid Life/AD&D InsuranceCompany paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance401k Plan with employer matchingEmployee Assistance PlanGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) policyUp to 11 paid HolidaysMillennium Bank is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
