Description: Warrington Welcome (GEB 2015 Business and You:
Warrington Welcome) Course Management
- Design, develop, and maintain the curriculum for the GEB 2015
Business and You: Warrington Welcome course. Update and evolve
course curriculum as needed and with input from supervisor and/or
Executive Director of Experiential Learning.
- Recruit and coordinate faculty or staff instructors for each
section; coordinate training and develop for instructors.
- Act as a resource for instructors; provide resources to support
teaching and learning in the course sections
- Coordinate assessment of each course in collaboration with
Director of Competency Development & Program Evaluation; ensure
quality and consistency across all sections.
- Lead marketing efforts for the course; collaborate with
appropriate Heavener staff and other colleagues to promote course
during annual Preview.
- Manage shared course materials and collateral
- Collaborate with the staff manager of Gator Ready to ensure
appropriate and intended integration of course curriculum with the
Gator Ready Suitable application.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners for classroom
visits according to curriculum needs (example: Business Career
Services, Heavener International Programs, and Heavener Academic
and Career Advising).
- Assist with administration of 3rd party products utilized for
instruction in the course (i.e. CliftonStrengths, Career Readiness
assessment tools, etc.)
- Manage annual budget and appropriate expenditures for the
program.
- Teach one or more Warrington Welcome (GEB 2015) sections
annually. Warrington Welcome Peer Leaders Program Management
- Manage the recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and
evaluation of undergraduate teaching partners (Peer Leaders) for
Warrington Welcome course.
- Assist with curriculum and training for the Warrington Welcome
Peer Leader training course (and other programs as needed).
- Design, develop, and oversee curriculum and implementation of
ongoing Warrington Welcome Peer Leader continuing developmental
programming.
- Manage programs associated with Warrington Welcome, including
but not limited to oversight of the Human Library project hosted
each semester and the annual Warrington Welcome Professional
Development Summit.
- Provide supervision to Warrington Welcome Peer Leaders.
- Advise and oversee the Warrington Welcome Council, consisting
of student leaders that help to support the Warrington Welcome
course and the Peer Leader program.
- Manage recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and
evaluation of Warrington Welcome Council
- Assess program learning outcomes in collaboration with Director
of Competency Development & Program Evaluation; provide advice and
mentorship to student leader participants.
- Perform strategic planning and analysis of the effectiveness of
the program.
- Manage annual budget and appropriate expenditures for the
program.
- Collaborate with the Warrington College of Business Employer
Relations team and/or Development office to secure funding
sources/sponsorships needed for special events. Assist with the
direction and management of long-range strategic planning,
operations, and administrative direction of Heavener Experiential
Learning Department
- Assist with general Experiential Learning or Heavener School of
Business programs (e.g., awards banquets, educational sessions,
program facilitation, etc.)
- Participate in and support various events for undergraduate
business students, including University commencement
ceremonies.
- Act as a faculty advisor to undergraduate business student
organizations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of the Heavener School
of Business, Executive Director of Experiential Learning
department, or direct supervisor.Expected Salary: $55,000Minimum
Requirements: Master's degree in an appropriate area of
specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of
specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
necessary for a teaching role
- Knowledge and experience in curriculum design and
evaluation
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Knowledge or practical experience with planning and tracking
