Job Description:

Seeking a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
UF Health Shands Rehab Services is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through innovative rehabilitation programs, fostering a safe and comfortable environment that empowers individuals to manage their care independently and improve their quality of life.
Our adult rehab center offers a comprehensive facility providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to the high school and adult population, with specialties in orthopedics, neurology, and pelvic health.
We offer continuing education, journal clubs, staff mentoring, and opportunities to be involved with student clinical education and our UF Health accredited residency programs in Sports and Orthopedics.
Our team of therapists provides rehabilitation services and education to patients, working closely with referring physicians, therapists, support staff, and the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
  
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  
• Collaborating with referring physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  
• Participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a Rehab Therapy field.
    
  • Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Florida.
    
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
