Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will of course be considered.Keep reading to learn more about this opportunity to join the Cox family of businesses.Workday Functional AnalystCox Communications has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Business Analyst who has demonstrated expertise with Workday Core HR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. The Workday Functional Analyst will be responsible for providing advanced system analysis and support for Workday, and other HR technology systems, and will parner with key stakeholdersin our organization to provide support.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday Core HR system initiatives including new implementations, business process improvements, and system maintenance.
  • Responsible for the analysis, requirements, design, testing, and training for Workday Core HR and other HR systems, including documentation, reviews and approvals with business and technology counterparts.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to manage the configuration, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of business processes in Workday. .
  • Create and maintain business process documentation, workflows and self-service guides for internal teams and system users.
  • Keep up to date with Workday delivered functional improvements and enhancements; making recommendations to improve Cox process efficiency and remove administration effort from end-users accordingly.
  • Performs best practice analysis to determine the root cause of problems and issues and determines the best overall solution when providing technical support to end users.
  • Creates, reviews, and participates in scheduled functional testing for system fixes, upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
  • Owns security access and functionality in assigned systems.
  • Support audit and compliance efforts as needed
  • Provide support for other People Solutions systems, such as I-9 verification and Document Mgmt.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with understanding of Human Resource processes and systems
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills. Can analyze complex scenarios and/or data sets and produce concise output for both functional and technical audiences.
    • 5+ years of experience with Core HR and Talent technologies (Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.)
      • Understands Workday functional configuration and can either make updates and/or communicate changes needed.
      • Ability to assist with the design, modeling, configuration, and execution of HR, Talent, and related programs.
      • Lead small to mid-size projects and enhancements from inception through implementation following SDLC and project management best practices.
      • Self-starter, ability to work autonomously.
      • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Can tailor content to align with the audience.
      • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams and individuals at various levels throughout the organization.Preferred
        • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, or related discipline strongly desired.
        • Hands-on experience with HR SaaS products.
        • Working knowledge of Workday Payroll, PeopleFluent, and/or ServiceNow is a plus.
