Stellar Energy strives to add value to today's energy infrastructure, achieving secure, affordable, and sustainable energy that will help to create a responsible energy economy. -Job SummaryThe Electrical Foreman will coordinate and work with the team of electricians responsible for installation, wiring and testing of electrical components of chilled water systems. Responsibilities include task assignments, staff training, inspections and technical problem solving. As a leader, the Electrical Foreman will be responsible for ensuring Stellar Energy's highest quality standards are met and that all safety procedures are implemented. -Essential Functions:
  • Oversee project and sub-contractor schedules, coordinate shop floor activities and monitor tool certifications, calibrations, etc.
  • Implement and maintain Competent Persons training
  • Oversee and complete quality inspections -
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures and issue violations when necessary
  • Seek to identify improved methods of production and safety and be proactive in the implementation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. -Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. -TravelTravel is primarily not required with exception to local travel during the business day. -Required Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or GED
      • 5+ years of experience supervising personnel and track record of industrial electrical installation
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office -
      • Knowledge concerning industrial transformer, LVMCC, HVMCC, etc. -
      • Extensive and documented industrial electrical gear knowledge
      • Licensed Journeyman Electrician -Preferred Education and Experience
